January 8, 2010 – David Myers, Owner of Mighty Good Coffee - With its Ann Arbor headquarters in a barn north of downtown and a Main Street retail location, Mighty Good Coffee is living up to its name. David Myers recalls as a young boy he made many trips into Ann Arbor with his parents, who were looking for a good cup of joe before coffee was hip.

October 9, 2009: Duc Tang, Chef/Owner of Pacific Rim - The memories of fleeing Vietnam as an 8 year-old boy in 1979 are still vivid for Duc Tang. Today he is the Chef/Owner of downtown Ann Arbor’s popular Pacific Rim restaurant. Duc (pronounced Duke) is Yale educated with a degree in BioChemistry, and also has a Theology degree from a school in Canada. It’s no wonder that his food is exceptional, and how he treats his staff and his customers is exemplary.

October 2, 2009: Barb McCoy, General Manager of Real Seafood - Barb McCoy has been the General Manager of Ann Arbor’s Real Seafood for the last decade, and she has been with its owners, Main Street Ventures, for 30 years. While Barb knows downtown Ann Arbor better than most, her real roots lie in the fact that her family use to own the old McCoy Market on N. Main St. She is very much a part of the downtown fabric and what makes it so special.
