“The Lucy Ann Lance Show” and “The Lucy Ann Lance Business Insider” are programs owned by Lance & Erskine Communications, LLC, a business formed by longtime broadcasting colleagues Lucy Ann Lance and Dean Erskine.
Lucy Ann Lance

Radio and TV personality Lucy Ann Lance grew up in Ann Arbor and is a graduate of Huron H.S. and the University of Michigan. She is the assistant manager of Ann Arbor’s Community Television Network, where she has worked for more than two decades. She’s also a veteran of the local radio scene, having hosted her own morning show for many years and worked as an assistant news director filing reports for NBC and Mutual Radio News. In addition, she does voiceovers on numerous projects for local and nationwide businesses.
Lucy Ann, along with radio personality Jimmy Barrett, pioneered the very first Michigan Football Tailgate Party on the air, a show that continued for 25 years with various co-hosts including Fat Bob Taylor, Dean Erskine, and Jeff DeFran. In 2008 she joined sports broadcaster Doug Karsch, along with Dean Erskine, to co-host the Michigan Football Tailgate Party on the syndicated Michigan Football Network for IMG.
Lucy Ann has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities as a volunteer emcee for many events. She is the recipient of Business Review’s “Most Influential Women” Award, and was the first recipient of the Miss America Women of Achievement Award from the Miss Washtenaw Scholarship Program. She also was saluted with the Spectrum Spirit Award, the Torchbearer Award from the Huron Valley Girl Scouts, and the Ambassador Award from the Ann Arbor Convention & Visitors Bureau. In 2010, Lucy Ann was bestowed with the Michigan Small Business Journalist of the Year Award from the Small Business Administration.
Dean Erskine

Dean Erskine
A 35 year radio veteran, Ann Arbor native Dean Erskine was a Pioneer H.S. student when he got his start on WPAG, one of the original broadcast outlets of University of Michigan Football. Dean worked his way up from announcer to morning show host, eventually becoming program director and sales manager at stations in the Ann Arbor market. He also worked as a radio account executive in the Toledo market.
Dean has overseen game day operations for University of Michigan football broadcasts, and also co-hosted the Michigan Football Tailgates with Lucy Ann Lance. He also owns Erskine Audio where he produces commercial and industrial voiceovers for nationwide clients. Dean’s community work includes numerous hours volunteering at the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
Jacob Bodnar – Webmaster

Jacob, a Saline H.S. graduate, is a Freshman at Michigan State University and a technical genius. He is the Managing Editor of www.msuconservative.com and Layout Manager/Webmaster for www.thespartanreview.com. Check-out his podcast at www.thecurrentpodcast.com. This Sparty actually has a bit of maize-n-blue in his bloodline, as Jacob’s father and uncle both played basketball for the Michigan Wolverines.

Bridget is a native of South Lyon, Michigan and a senior at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she studies Communications, Comparative Literature, and Modern European Cultures. Krystle Eva Weiss
Eva double-majored in English and Film & Video Studios at the University of Michigan. She books and manages guests on “The Lucy Ann Lance Show”, and also researches and writes for “The Lucy Ann Lance Business Insider.” Eva also works for Russell Video, where she produces industrial videos and commercials.
Faye Christiansen Faye is from the Western Michigan town of Shelby and is currently a senior in the Screen Arts & Cultures program at the University of Michigan. She books and manages guests on “The Lucy Ann Lance Business Insider” and “The Lucy Ann Lance Show.” She has also worked on several feature film and music video productions in Southeastern Michigan.
Markus Hwang – Intern
Markus is a senior at Saline High School. He plays the fiddle in the Saline Fiddlers and is President of Saline Interact Club. Markus hopes to go into Music Business and Management as a career. On “The Lucy Ann Lance Business Insider,” Markus edits and uploads audio and keeps the website up to date.
