Scott Rosencrans, Project Liaison, Friends of the Ann Arbor Skatepark– A $300,000 Michigan  Natural Resources Trust Fund grant is providing the key to opening a skatepark on Ann Arbor’s west side.  Combined with $100,000 in private donations, the Friends of the Ann Arbor Skatepark will now have access to a $400,000 matching grant from the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation
Commission.

Whitmore Lake Chamber of Commerce:  Tom Lombardi, Whitmore Lake Tavern – Christmas comes to the lake as the Whitmore Lake Tavern rolls out its festivities, including a live appearance of Santa this weekend.  The family restaurant is situated right on Whitmore Lake, and Tom Lombardi says business has been good even in the off months.
