Research estimates that nearly 15 million Americans have a food allergy. In children, food allergies effect 1 of every 13 children. Eight foods cause most food allergic reactions in the United States: milk, egg, peanut, tree nuts, soy, wheat, fish and crustacean shellfish. Here, we focus on three key allergens: Gluten, Dairy and Tree Nut.
