Adderley Professor of Pediatric Oncology/UM Associate Professor at Departments of Pediatrics and Pathology, Liz Marek, Community Relations Director, Grizzly Peak & Lena – Wolverine fans can watch Michigan take on Northwestern on the big screen at the historic Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor this Saturday, and help a great cause in memory of a former football player.

Downtown Friday with the Main Street Area Association:  Downtown Business Partners with Food Gatherers – Maura Thomson, MSAA Executive Director, Jessica Wade Johnston, Owner, Falling Water – This independent downtown store is dedicated to finding unique products that honor the creative spirit in people and nature. A large percentage of their selections come from small companies and from independent artists and craftspeople. Falling Water will donate 5% of its sales between November 29 and December 1 to Food Gatherers.

Be A Hero At The Big House:  Bob Garypie, Director of Development Communications, UM Transplant Center –Be a Hero at the Big House, the University of Michigan’s largest life-saving donation drive, takes place Sunday, Nov. 17, at Michigan Stadium. Participants can give blood or register as an organ, eye, tissue or bone marrow donor from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  The massive donor drive, which is in its third year, is free and is located in the Jack Roth Stadium Club, where attendees can get a VIP view of the famous stadium. Parking is free on the Crisler Arena side of the stadium.
