Around the Home: Habitat for Humanity Huron Valley – Maureen Sloan, CEO, BRAG Ann Arbor; Maggie Porter, Director of Development, Habitat for Humanity; Also in photo is Habitat’s new PR & Marketing Associate Charlie Kelly – In nearly 25 years, Ann Arbor’s Habitat for Humanity has built and renovated more than 135 homes.  Since the downturn in the economy, many of the homes being renovated are former foreclosures.  Throughout the years, the Builders & Remodeleras Association of Greater Ann Arbor (BRAG Ann Arbor) has played an important role in the success of Habitat.

Downtown Friday with the Downtown Association of Ypsilanti:  It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas in Downtown Ypsi Thanks to EMU Students – Dave Heikkinen, DAY President – Ypsilanti ushers in the Christmas season with a bevy of activities and fun for the whole family.  This year the Downtown Association of Ypsilanti had members of the EMU Student Council help them decorate downtown as well, as part of efforts to create a better relationship between town and gown.
