A New Generation:  University of Michigan Solar Car  Eric Hausman, UM Senior; Pavan Naik, UM Sophomore – It took a team of 100 students to build the University of Michigan’s latest solar car to compete in the upcoming World Solar Challenge, an 1800 mile race across Australia.  They’ve dubbed the vehicle “Generation”, and this generation of solar powered automobile actually has four wheels this year.
